Calvary Christian locked up the top seed in District 14-2A on Saturday with an 8-0 win over rival Coral Springs Christian. Anthony Avila was the offensive star, with three hits on the day.

Coral Springs ended Douglas’ hope of an undefeated Friday with a convincing 10-3 victory over the Eagles. The two teams are now tied atop the District 10-6A standings.
