American Heritage 5, Florida Christian 4 – Brandon Diaz hit a home run to power Heritage to a big win against a perennial Miami-Dade powerhouse. Louis Beck earned the win, and CJ Chatham got the save.

Pine Crest 17, Chaminade-Madonna 6 – The Panthers used their park to their advantage, hitting four homers in the rout of the Lions. Steven Goldberg hit two of them, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs. Matt Rothenberg went 3-for-3 with a homer, triple, double and four RBIs. Zack Kone also had a big day, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Chandler Cissel drove in three runs, belted a home run and had three RBIs. Adams Saks scored three runs.

Highlands Christian 13, Lake Worth Christian 2 – Saul Valez went 1-for-2 with a double and three RBIs to help the Knights improve to 3-2 as they get set to travel to district rival Calvary Christian on Tuesday.

Coral Springs Christian 3, Zion Lutheran 0 – Eric Hepple and Touki Toussaint combined on a one-hitter to pace the Crusaders as they improved to 4-1. Pembron Burrows tripled and drove in a run, Joey Depalo went 1-for-2 with a double and run, and Benito Santiago went 1-for-2 with a triple and run. Hepple helped himself a the plate with a hit, run and RBI.
