Everglades 4, Western 0 – Adam Murray struck out six and allowed three hits while walking three in a complete-game performance for the Gators (4-1), who currently are in a tie with West Broward and Cypress Bay for the second spot in the district standings at 2-1. Brandon Escalante doubled and drove in a run.
West Broward 2, Miramar 0 – Ben Feinman, Anthony Molina and Devin Hadley combined to no-hit the Patriots. Danny Pardo, Evan Stocker, Christian Khawly and Aires Rivera had hits. Pardo and Rivera drove in runs, and Khawly scored and tripled.
Calvary Christian 11, Somerset Academy 2 – Josh Lane went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a run, and Tyler Ray went 2-for-3 with two RBIs an a run to lead the Eagles (4-2-1). Tyler Ray went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run, and Nico Lares went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run.
Coral Springs Christian 4, Coral Springs Charter 0 – Eric Hepple went 2-for-3 with two home runs and three RBIs to power the Crusaders (6-1). Benito Santiago went 1-for-2 and Devin Meyer 1-for-3.
St. Thomas 9, Pembroke Pines Charter 6 – Ross Thibeault went 3-for-3 with a triple, and Christian Demby went 2-for-3 with a double to lead the Raiders (4-3), who next face archrival Nova on Tuesday at Pat McQuaid Field.
Nova 5, Cooper City 1 – Gabriel Valverde went 2-for-2 with two doubles, a run and two RBIs, and Cole Habig went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, a double and run for the Titans (3-2) in the District 7A-16 matchup. Kyle Pangallo went 2-for-4 with a double. Evan Santiago had two hits, and Nick D’Andrea pitched four innings for the Cowboys (2-3). Hunter Kelly went 1-for-2 with a double and RBI.
Fort Lauderdale 6, South Broward 1 – Jason Jeffrey pitched a three-hitter and drove in two runs, and Alex Honner, Brad Smith and Alec Bryant combined other four RBI to pace the Flying L’s (2-4). The loss was the first this season for South Broward (5-1).
Flanagan 2, Cypress Bay 0 – Gentry Fortuno pitched a complete game, striking out 13 and allowing no walks in the Falcons’ district win over the Lightning. The Falcons improved to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in the district, while the Lightning fell to 3-1 and 2-1.
McArthur 4, Plantation 3 – Kevin Rosario went 2-for-3 with a triple, and Jesus Patricio went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases for the Mustangs (3-3), who improved to 2-2 in District 7A-16. Javier Aguilar went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI.
