St. Thomas 6, South Broward 0 – Alec Byrd did it all as he struck out 14 in six innings, allowing one hit and walking one, and also going 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs to power the Raiders to their eighth win in a row. St. Thomas (9-3) remains at the top of 7A-16 at 6-1 with a matchup for first place looming Wednesday against nemesis Nova.


Cardinal Gibbons 6, Somerset 5 – Dalton Jugovic had the game-winning RBI in top of seventh to lift the Chiefs (5-5) past the Panthers (4-10). Gibbons remains in third place in 4A-13 at 4-3. Somerset is in last place at 1-6.
