Coral Springs Christian 4, American Heritage Delray 3 – Winning pitcher Eric Hepple struck out eight, and Devin Meyer went 2-for-3 with a double for the Crusaders (15-3) in the Florida Invitational. Benito Santiago went 1-for-3 with an RBI, and Pemron Burrows went 1-for-1 with a run and stolen base. He also got on by a hit-by-pitch.
Summit Christian 1, Calvary Christian 0 – Summit pitcher Zach Lawrence struck out only one but pitched a complete game four-hit shutout. He got one run of support on a sacrifice fly in the third. CCA starter Andrw Gottfried went six innings, struck out six and walked none.
Pine Crest 5, Riverview 2 – Alex Perez went 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs, and Zack Kone went 2-for-4 with a double and a run as the Panthers (11-6) wrapped up play in the Sarasota Classic. Adam Saks, Chandler Cissel and Scott Halperin had hits. Matt Rothenberg threw three innings in relief.
Coral Glades 8, Dade Christian 0 – Nick Diaz went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run, and Thomas Santarcangelo went 2-for-4 with an RBI and run as the Jaguars (8-5) wrapped their play in the Sarasota Classic. Alex Lara went 2-for-4 with two runs, and Christian Dominguez earned the win, allowing one hit and walking two.
University School 12, Battleground 3 – Alejandro Fisher earned the win, and Mike White went 2-for-5 with three runs, a double, home run, three runs and three RBIs as the Suns (11-4) completed their performance in the Sunshine Classic. Adam Sinkoe also had two hits.
Everglades 10, Zion Lutheran 6 – Manny Rojas went 3-for-3 with three runs, a home run and RBI, and Elijah Rodriguez went 1-for-2, with two runs, a home run and an RBI for the Lions (8-6) in the Sunshine Classic.
American 3, Chaminade-Madonna 1 – Juan Martinez went 2-for-3 and Jose Colina 1-for-2 with an RBI to pace the Lions (5-10-2) in the Selective Recruiting/Sir Pizza Invitational.
Palm Beach Central 6, Flanagan 1 – Brandon Melendez went 2-for-3 and Andres Visbal drove in the only run for the Falcons (12-3), whose 11-game winning streak was halted with the loss in the Powered By Tradition Baseball Classic in Orlando.
Sagemont 18, Miami Christian 5 – Andres Vazquez struck out four in five innings and went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run and three runs for the Lions (3-7). John Albo hit a pinch-hit grand slam, and Sean Iacono went 4-for-4 with a triple and two runs.
