Piper 3, Coral Glades 2 – Joseph Spano pitched a complete-game four-hitter, and Chris Nunez hit a sacrifice fly to bring in the winning run as the Bengals (4-7) upset the Jaguars (7-2) to snap a two-game skid.


South Broward 5, McArthur 3 – Mike Cohick went 2-for-2 with a run and an RBI, and Matt Cohick went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run for the Bulldogs (8-4), who broke a two-game losing streak. John Maginnis went 2-for-4. Kenny Rasor threw his third complete game to improve to 4-1 on the year. Kevin Rosario went 3-for-3 with a double and a run for the Mustangs (4-7).


Florida Christian 7, Coral Springs Christian 5 (9 innings) – Touki Toussaint went 4-for-5 with a double, two runs and two stolen bases, and Pemron Burrows went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs and two stolen bases. The loss was the first for the Crusaders (12-3) since a 1-0 setback against Monsignor Pace on March 2.


St. Thomas 7, Nova 3 – The Raiders (10-3) stretched their winning streak to nine games as Frank Rubio struck out nine and allowed two hits and no earned runs. Christian Demby went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a two runs, and Alec Byrd went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Carter White also had two hits and scored. The win kept St. Thomas at the top of the 7A-16.


Stranahan 7, Coconut Creek 3 – Austin Ford pitched five innings, taking a no-hitter into the fifth, for the Drangons (4-8) in a game called in the sixth for lightning. Ariel Vargas went 2-3 for Stranahan. Dalton Kazmarik pitched out of two-bases Loaded jams


South Plantation 7, Deerfield Beach 1 – Jose Fernandez led the Paladins (5-6), going 2-3 with a home run. The Paladins snapped a two-game losing streak.


University School 10, Somerset 4 – Mike White went 3-for- 4 and scored three for the Suns (7-3), who solidified their top spot in 4A-13 with a 7-1 record.
