Stranahan 11, Dillard 0 – Ariel Vargas pitched a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts and also went 2-for-3 with two runs to pace the Dragons (7-10), who bounced back from a lost to Pines Charter on Wednesday. Jose Lopez went 2-for-2 and Austin Ford 2-3.

South Plantation 15, Plantation 5 – Joshua Matos went 1-for-1 with a triple and two stolen bases for the Paladins (7-8), who rebounded from an 8A-11 loss to Doughlas earlier in the week.

Fort Lauderdale 10, McArthur 0 – Hunter Kay went 2-for-2 with a double, stolen base, two runs and two RBIs, and Jason Jeffrey allowed one hit and struck out four for the Flying L’s (10-7), who have won eight in a row.

Cypress Bay 11, Coconut Creek 0 – Ji Woo went 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs, and Andrew Alvarez had two hits, including a triple, and scored three runs as the Lightning (11-5) won their third in a row. Danny Cepeda went 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs.

St. Thomas 9, Cooper City 1 – Frank Rubio struck out seven, and Rafael Amanau went 2-for-3 as the Raiders (14-5) finished on top of 7A-16 at 9-1. Alec Byrd hit a home run, scored twice and drove in two runs, and Ross Thibeault went 1-for-4 with two runs, a home run and two RBIs.
