Daily Recaps For Broward County Games on Friday, April 19th

Flanagan 5, Dwyer 1 – Eric Rivera went 4-for-4 with two runs, and Ryan Dodge went 2-for-4 with two runs for the Falcons (16-5).

Coral Springs Charter 12, Coral Glades 2 – Stephen Kerr went 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBIs, and Luis Guillome went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs for the Panthers (18-7).

Cardinal Gibbons 5, Pompano Beach 4 – Karl Hirsch entered the game in the top of seventh with bases loaded and no outs and struck all three batters to end the threat for the Chiefs (9-11). Tyler Norris went 1-for-2 with two runs. David Pedraza went 2-for-2 with two doubles and two. Drew Hanke went 1-for-1 and drove in the winning runs. Nick Ferngren went 1-for-1 with an RBI.

South Broward 4, Everglades 3 – Powered by pitchers Mike Cohick (in relief getting the win), Matt Cohick (three scoreless innings) and Cody Behr, the Bulldogs celebrated their Senior Night with a come-from-behind walkoff win. Matt Cohick also went 2-for-3 with a run.

South Plantation 8, McArthur 8 (8 innings) – Daniel Trummert and Brandon Buchanan combined for five innings of two-hit ball for the Mustangs (6-13-1). Mike Velez went 3-for-5 and Javier Aguilar 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Kevin Rosario and Mike Bosco each went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
