Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Thursday, February 13th, 2014
As beautiful weather spread around Broward County Thursday evening, baseball resumed as scheduled for high school athletes. With many games being played it was a night that had a little bit of everything. Aaron Soto of Archbishop McCarthy helped lead his team to victory by hitting three home runs, including a grand slam. He went 3-for-3 with two runs and seven RBIs. The Westminster pitching staff threw a combined no-hitter against Coconut Creek, striking out 11 Cougars. Short fences at North Broward Prep saw another ball leave the yard today, as Edgar Badaraco hit a home run for North Broward Prep. Check out the rest of the day’s action below.
