Coral Springs has no shortage of solid baseball programs, and Coral Springs Charter and Coral Springs Christian proved their worth among them by finishing third in their respective Spring Break tournaments Friday. The Crusaders completed their play in the National High School Invitational in Cary, N.C. behind Colin Taylor’s complete game and the hitting of Benito Santiago, Eric Hepple and Cary Boniske. Back home, Coral Springs Charter beat South Dade in the Hall of Fame Classic in Pompano Beach.
