It’s only April, but one might swear some football was being played at Pine Crest yesterday with the score of the Panthers’ matchup with Pompano Beach being 24-13. The players on the field wore caps not helmets and left the pads off as they actually came up with that score playing baseball. Pine Crest won after banging out 16 hits, and 13 players had at least one hit. Chandler Cissel, Alex Perez homered and Garret Rukes homered and combined for 13 RBIs. Elsewhere, James Buckley went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs in Coral Springs Christian’s 5-2 win over Cardinal Gibbons…
