Anthony Maciello pitched a four-hitter with nine strikeouts and walked none in North Broward Prep’s 2-0 win over Pine Crest in a 4A-14 matchup Friday. The win puts the Eagles in third place, just ahead of Pine Crest, in the district standings.

Dominic DiCaprio’s three hits, including a homer, led Douglas to its third consecutive win, 10-4 over Highlands Christian.

Pembroke Pines Charter rebounded from its first loss to defeat Archbishop Carroll 8-0.

James Spatafora’s four RBIs were key in Nova beating Cypress Bay 10-5 to roll to 3-0.

Flanagan ace Gentry Fortuno pitched the Falcons past Palm Beach power Palm Beach Central 4-0.
