Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Friday, March 6th, 2015

Coral Springs Charter won its second in a row after a four-game losing streak, defeating 4A-14 rival Somerset Academy 6-5 on the strength of a five-run fifth inning. It was the second win in the district for the Panthers, who have three consecutive district games next week.

American Heritage won its third in a row as it scored a rare win at Douglas, beating the Eagles 11-5.

Flanagan won its fourth 8A-13 game and extended its winning streak to seven games by knocking off archrival West Broward 7-5.

Matthew Underhill earned the win as Northeast beat Fort Lauderdale 7-3 in a 7A-14 game. The Hurricanes, who won their second in a row to go to 4-3, improved to 2-1 in the district for second place.
