Jesse Crosno pitched a four-hitter with four strikeouts to guide University School to a 2-1 win over Monarch in the South Broward Spring Classic on Monday.

In another South Broward Classic game, Phil Kniskern pitched a complete game and struck out five to lead Pompano Beach past Cooper City 4-1.

Jose Oliva went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to pace Nova in an 8-2 win over Western.
