Stefan Rovello had two hits, including a double, and Edison Rodriguez and Angelo Pagliuca drove in a combined five runs with each hitting a homer in Sagemont’s 7-3 win over Westwood Christian in a 3A-15 game. The Lions snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 6-3 in the district for third place, just ahead of the Warriors.

Andrew Gottfried pitched six strong innings and went 3-for-4 as Calvary Christian beat Coral Springs Charter 5-0 in a 4A-14 game. The Eagles have won eight of their past nine after an 0-3 start and are 7-1 for first place in the district.
