Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015

Joey Rodriguez went 3-for-4, including a double and a three-run home run, to drive in four runs Tuesday as Cypress Bay rallied to beat South Plantation 10-7 in an 8A-12 game. It was third win in a row for the Lightning, which came back with four runs in the sixth to go ahead and hold on for their third district win.

West Broward used a balancing offensive attack to hammer Everglades 12-1 in an 8A-13 game. It was the second consecutive win and third in the district for the Bobcats (4-3), who face archrival Flanagan on Friday.

Emilio Valdez drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh as Coral Springs Charter rallied to beat visiting Belen Jesuit 4-3.

Trevor Jones pitched a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts to lead Fort Lauderdale past Boyd Anderson 10-0.

James McGrath pitched a two-hitter to guide Highlands Christian to its second win, 10-0 over Lake Worth Christian in 3A-14.
