Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Friday, April 10th, 2015

Pembroke Pines Charter secured the top seed in 6A-14 and a regional playoff berth with a 5-2 win over Boynton Beach on Friday. The Jaguars (14-4-1), who have won two in a row, get the playoff berth because 6A-14 is only a three-team district.

Northeast earned only its third win in the past month as Isiah Blackwell pitched a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts to lead the Hurricanes past Fort Lauderdale 3-1 in a 7A-14 game. The win secured second place in the district for Northeast.

Ty Crittenberger drove in the winning run to lift Cardinal Gibbons past Tampa Catholic 2-1 in the Catholic Challenge championship at Bishop Moore High School in Orlando. Nathan Pawelczyk pitched five strong innings and doubled.
