Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Monday, April 20th, 2015
Chaminade-Madonna, Hollywood Hills and Boynton Beach advanced in the district playoffs with victories Monday.
The Lions rallied for three runs in the eighth to beat University School in a 4A-14 play-in game. Chaminade will play in a quarterfinal Wednesday against Somerset.
The Spartans also needed eight innings to win. They topped South Broward 3-2 to move on to play St. Thomas at 7 tonight in a semifinal.
Boynton Beach used a strong offensive effort to beat Stranahan 20-3 and advance to face Pembroke Pines Charter in the 6A-14 championship at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
