Yorvis Torrealba delivered the winning hit in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Douglas to a 2-1 win over American Heritage Delray on Thursday. Devin Conn earned the win, and Blake Bottomley had two hits.

Nick McDonald tossed a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts as West Broward scored a rare home shutout of Nova 2-0.

Brannigan Hart went 4-for-4 and hit for the cycle, driving in seven runs to pace Western in a 16-1 win over Plantation.

Piper snapped a six-game losing streak by beating Fort Lauderdale 4-1. Eduardo Delgado pitched six shutout innings, striking out five, and also went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
