Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Thursday, April 2nd, 2015

Ravi Bakhai delivered the winning hit in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift Pine Crest to a 9-8 win over North Broward Prep in 4A-14 on Thursday. Jordan Schulefand went 5-for-5 with a double, three runs, an RBI and a stolen base. Griffin Conine added three hits, and Michael Rothenberg and Zack Kone homered. The Panthers remain at the top of the district.

St. Thomas improved to 8-0 in 7A-15 with a 9-6 win over nemesis Nova. The Raiders built a 5-0 lead after two innings and held off a late Titans rally to win their seventh consecutive game in the series. The Titans have not beaten St. Thomas since April 26, 2012 in the district championship.

Flanagan continued its dominance in 8A-12, improving to 8-0 as it beat rival West Broward 8-3. The Falcons have won the past six games in the series, and the Bobcats have not beaten the Falcons since the regional semifinal on May 9, 2012.
