Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Tuesday, March 31th, 2015

CJ Delbosque drove in the winning run as Monarch edged South Broward 2-1 on Tuesday for its second win in a row. Manny Rojas doubled in the tying run.

Brian Fagan earned the win for North Broward in its 3-2, eight-inning win over Calvary Christian in 4A-14. North Broward takes over the top spot in the district with the win. Calvary moves to second.

That wasn’t the only exciting game in 4A-14 on Tuesday. Chaminade-Madonna withstood a rally by University School to hold off the Suns 6-5. Michael Blanco earned the win, and Shane Stockelman, Chris Vickers and Kevin Rodriguez each had two hits.

Colton Welker had two hits, including a double, as Douglas topped Coral Springs 3-1 in 8A-11. The Eagles won their second in a row and maintained the top spot in the district.
