Joey Rodriguez went 3-for-4 and stole home, honoring Jackie Robinson Day to tie game in seventh before driving in the winning run in the eighth to power Cypress Bay to a 4-3 win over Deerfield Beach on Wednesday. The Lightning are 3-1 in their past four games.

AJ Marcantonio (5-0) tossed a complete-game shutout to lead Pompano Beach to a 4-0 win over Northeast for their fourth win in a row. Vinnie Costello went 2-for-3 with a triple and a run.

Jordan Quijano went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs and delivered the winning hit to lift Pembroke Pines Charter to a 6-5 win over Pine Crest. Daniel Rodriguez-Velez went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs. Trent Herzog went 2-for-4 with a double, home run, three RBIs and two runs. Zack Kone went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs and an RBI for the Panthers.
