Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Thursday, February 25th, 2016

Andrew Garcia drove in two runs, and St. Thomas rallied from a 4-3 deficit to win 5-4 against Chaminade-Madonna on Thursday. Michael Muley pitched three solid relief innings to get the win for the Raiders (4-2), who extended their winning streak to four games. Kyle Benson drove in a run and scored, and Earl Semper doubled and scored twice.

Westminster won its third in row, defeating 4A-7 rival Hialeah Educational 13-2 for its first win in 4A-7. Tommy Haggerty tossed four innings, striking out four, to get the win. He also went 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Zach Goberville went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, a double and a run, and Roman Ripoll went 2-for-4 with an RBI, two stolen bases, two walks and a run.

Jorge Vega had the winning hit and got the win on the mound as he led Piper to an 8-7 win over West Boca. The Bengals improved to 5-1.

Pembroke Pines Charter snapped a three-game losing streak as it knocked off 7A-15 rival South Broward 5-0.
