Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Wednesday, February 17th, 2016

Greyson Fletcher struck out 10 in six innings to earn the win as Cypress Bay defeated Everglades 6-2 on Wednesday in a 9A-12 matchup. Jose Natera went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI for the Lightning (2-2). Manny Rodriguez went 2-for-3 for the Gators (1-1).

Two teams earned their first wins of the season Wednesday. Cardinal Gibbons beat Pompano Beach 4-2, and Coconut Creek edged Hollywood Hills 8-7.

James Spatafora went 3-for-3 with a home run, two doubles and an RBI in Nova’s 10-0 win over Fort Lauderdale. The Titans improved to 3-0.
