Archbishop McCarthy capitalized on the long ball as it took a 9-2 lead in the bottom of the first and never looked back in a 13-5 win over Cypress Bay on Monday. Adan Fernandez hit a two-run shot, and AJ Hendrix and Alex Castillo hit solo shots for the Mavericks (12-0).

Angelo Pagliuca went 3-for-4 with a triple, home run and three RBIs, and Stefan Revelo went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBIs as Sagemont won its third in a row, beating Archbishop Curley 14-2 in a 3A-8 game.
