University School scored two runs in the top of the eighth as it beat 4A-7 foe Chaminade-Madonna 4-2 on Saturday. Buddy Hayward struck out six in five and one-third innings, and Sammy Guillorme had a hit and scored twice for the Sharks (9-2, 4-1), who rebounded from Thursday’s district loss to Westminster.

Calvary Christian won its fourth in a row after a 2-3 start, defeating Everglades Prep 10-0 as Max Guzman went 3-for-3 with a double, two home runs, six RBIs and three runs. Tommy Orr went 2-for-2 with a double, three runs and a stolen base for the Eagles (6-3). Maximiliano Ramiez struck out eight in three innings to earn the win.
