Cardinal Gibbons couldn’t hold on to its three-run lead, allowing Bishop Moore to tie the game to force extras and then win it in the bottom of the eighth, 7-6 on Wednesday in the Catholic Challenge in Orlando. The Chiefs (4-12) held a 4-1 lead going into the bottom of the seventh, but Bishop Moore scored three to tie it. Gibbons retook the lead with two in the top of the eighth, but Bishop Moore rallied again — this time for good — with three runs in the bottom of the inning to win.
