Phil Quinn tossed a complete game and struck out eight as Coral Springs beat Pembroke Pines Charter 5-2 in a non-district game Wednesday. John Lombardi, Sean Baran and Matt Leconte had two hits each for the Colts (6-3), who have won two in a row.

West Broward won its second in a row as it topped Everglades in a 9A-12 matchup. The Bobcats improved to 6-3, 1-2.
