Fort Lauderdale broke a two-game losing streak as it defeated Plantation 15-4 in an 8A-14 game. The Flying L’s improved to 11-7, 5-3.
John McKenna’s three-run home run proved to be the difference as Douglas rallied to beat Lamont, IL 3-2. The Eagles won their fourth in a row to improve to 17-2.
