| Coach Franco enters his 8th season as the head coach of the Coral Glades Jaguars Baseball Program. This will be his 18th season as a head coach with the first 10 seasons as the head coach of the Monarch Knights Baseball Program. Coach Franco was a 4-year varsity baseball player for Coral Springs High School from 1999-2002. He was a 2 year captain, in his junior and senior seasons. From there, he went on to play collegiate baseball at Palm Beach Community College in 2003 and 2004 earning a First Team All-State Academic selection in baseball for both seasons. After playing 2 seasons at PBCC, Coach Franco received a baseball scholarship to play at Division 1 Chicago State University but instead chose to accept a baseball scholarship to play at Division 2 Nova Southeastern University where he played the 2005 and 2006 seasons. Coach Franco was selected to the 2006 All-Sunshine State Conference 2nd Team as well as on the Dean's List every semester while at NSU. Coach Franco was the longest tenured coach for the Monarch Baseball Program. In 2012 and 2015, Coach Franco was named the Sun-Sentinel 6A, 7A, 8A Broward County Coach of the Year. Coach Franco was also selected to coach the 2012 BCAA All Star game. In 2012, 2015 and 2017 Coach Franco was selected to coach the HSBN All Star game. Coach Franco now becomes the fourth head coach for the Coral Glades Baseball Program.
