Chaminade Madonna continued their strong run through the HSBN/Perfect Recruits Fall Classic tournament by beating Douglas 8-1 in their semi-final game Tuesday afternoon.

Chaminade-Madonna’s Brandon Burgess nearly threw his second no-hitter of the Fall Classic as the Lions scored early and often against Deerfield Beach.

Chaminade-Madonna pulled off the 6-5 win in its last at-bat in the first game of its Round Two series with the Deerfield Bucks.
