Flanagan beat the West Broward with their bats, gloves, and on the mound to win the 12-6A District Title. On Tuesday they will host South Plantation in a regional quarterfinal game.

Flanagan hit seven home runs and scored 12 runs with two outs in a 14-4 victory over Cooper City in the District 12-6A Tournament semifinals.

Flanagan and Coral Springs Charter played a tuneup game for next week’s playoffs on Monday evening, and it was the Falcons that came away 5-1 winners.

Flanagan avenged an earlier loss to West Broward Thursday and in the process the Falcons secured the top seed in the District 12-6A playoffs with a 9-7 win over the Bobcats.

West Broward moved to the top of the District 12-6A standings with a 4-3 win over rival Flanagan on Wednesday night. Luigi Perez hit the game-winning single for the Bobcats.

On Monday, the bottom third of Flanagan’s order had ten hits, seven RBI’s, and nine runs scored, helping power the Falcons to an 18-3 district win over Cypress Bay.

Douglas and Flanagan have developed a rivalry over the past couple of years, and on Friday it was the Eagles that came out on top 3-2 in a battle of two of Broward’s top teams.

The much anticipated match up of two of Broward’s best teams produced little drama Friday evening, as defending state champion Flanagan defeated Western 17-2.

McArthur’s Dylan Segula highlighted a day of blowouts in Broward County by throwing a no-hitter in a 21-0 rout of Hollywood Hills.

Flanagan received a dominant pitching performance from Mike Melendez and played fundamentally sound baseball throughout to defeat Calvary Christian 4-0 Friday night.

Flanagan picked up where they left off last season in their 2011 opener. The Falcons used the long ball several times en route to a 14-4, five inning victory over St. Thomas.

Calvary Christian kicked off the Flanagan Nike/OTS Challenge Monday afternoon with a 7-5 victory over American Heritage.

Defending 6A state champion Flanagan, district 10-6A champs Coral Springs, and district 11-6A champion South Broward, will take the field today for preseason games.
