The North team scored three runs in the top of the ninth to nip the South 9-6 in the BCAA Senior All-Star Game at Pat McQuaid Field at Nova High Wednesday night.

Tyler Henning led McArthur to a District 11-6A title with a 7-2 record. The Mavericks ace had a stellar senior season that has now won him our District Player of the Year honor.

South Plantation ace Brandon Burgess battled through a high fever to help his team advance to the district championship game with an 11-4 victory over Piper.

Piper uses late rally to get by Hollywood Hills. Alen Arslanyan went 3-4, including a go ahead two-run single in the sixth, and stole two bases.

Pembroke Pines Charter (9-9) hit four homers and had twenty-two hits en route to a 20-10 non-district win over Piper on Wednesday night.

Ronny Bailey hit a three-run, walk-off home run as the Bengals beat the Colonels 7-4 in a District 11-6A game. Piper rallied with four runs in the seventh to notch the win.

Piper scored five runs in the first inning and never trailed as they defeated South Broward in a District 11-6A game Friday evening.

South Plantation cracked two home runs and had nine hits as it shutout Piper 10-0 in a crucial District 11-6A game. Junior Brandon Burgess had nine strikeouts, picking up the win.

Piper players learned Friday that life is about more than just baseball. The Bengals drew community, business, and school leaders to a successful fundraiser for Down Syndrome.

South Plantation turned around their season on Tuesday with a stunning 8-5 come from behind victory over district rival Piper.

Western tested the theory that pitching and defense wins in baseball by issuing fourteen walks and committing several errors while still coming out on top against Piper.

Tyler Henning pitched McArthur to a 3-1 district win over Piper Thursday, avenging a tough loss to the Bengals last season.

McArthur’s Dylan Segula highlighted a day of blowouts in Broward County by throwing a no-hitter in a 21-0 rout of Hollywood Hills.

South Broward holds on for a somewhat sloppy but much appreciated 7-6 come from behind win in spite of the showers and a 20 minute rain delay.
